Affiliate Streaming Request

Thank you for considering streaming your affiliate's event on ACB Radio. Our goal is to ensure that your streaming experience is as smooth and successful as possible.

ACB Radio Managing Director and volunteer staff stand prepared to assist you in any way possible prior to and during your streaming date. Each event streamed represents many hours of preparation time by ACBR staff. Thus, beginning in March, 2015, affiliates will be assessed a $100 streaming fee; whether your event lasts one day or continues over several days, the fee remains the same.

This form is designed to help us ensure that you have in place the basics you will need to get started and stream successfully.
Please fill it out and submit it with a payment of $100 at least
6 weeks before your event date; you will hear back from one of our staff within 2 weeks of the date you submit the form. If along the way you have questions, please contact info@acbradio.org(link sends e-mail) and we will assist you. Our goal is to get your affiliate on the air and streaming. Welcome to the team!

Start and End Times
In order for our automation to pick up your coverage and for promotional purposes we need to know the start and end times of each event. When listing your start and end times be sure to include time for pre and post event coverage. You must fill out the start and end times for at least the first day of coverage. If you have only one day of coverage then you can leave the fields for the remaining days blank.

Streaming Personnel
The next section deals with who will be streaming the event. At least 2 people should be responsible for making sure the event stays on the air. Please fill out the contact information below for each person that will be in charge of the stream during the event.
Be sure to enter the first and last name of the person who will have primary responsibility for the stream.
The primary streaming person must be reachable at this number during the event. Note that it is critical that the primary person can be reached at this number during the event in case any technical difficulties come up.
Please list any details of your prior experience if any. For example list the event you streamed as well as when and where it was streamed.
Be sure to enter the first and last name of the person who will have secondary responsibility for the stream.

Streaming Equipment
Here we need to know what kind of equipment you have and how much of it you have. The equipment for a typical streaming setup will usually consist of 2 audio mixers, several microphones, several headsets and a laptop or desktop that will handle sending the audio stream out to the internet.

Please describe the type of audio mixers you are planning to have at the event. Example list the brand name, number of input channels, number of output channels and what kind of connectors you have to connect the microphones, headsets and the broadcast computer.

Choose how you will be connecting to the internet at the event site. Hardwire/Ethernet is strongly recommended but some sites may only have wireless available.

By checking the "I agree" box below, you agree that in the event we cannot reach the primary or secondary person in charge of your live stream by phone or email to resolve any quality issues such as volume or dropping of the stream, ACB Radio Management reserves the right to disconnect any live broadcast until the technical issues are resolved to the satisfaction of ACB Radio management.
